CSI DETECTIVES

Hi, I’m Antonia and I live in the UK with my family. I’m an occupational therapist by day, avid scrapbooker by night, and nature wonderer on the weekends. I started scrapbooking about twelve years ago, wanting to capture and record the special moments in my children’s lives, as they grow up. It has since become a passion and a form of therapy – it keeps me sane when life gets a bit crazy! I am a traditional patterned paper sort of girl at heart and enjoy creating single - and double-page layouts and journal pages. You can find me on my blog, on my YouTube channel, and on my Instagram account

My name is Carina and I am from Sweden. I live in a little village outside the town Jönköping, with my hubby, our two dogs and our cat. We also have two grown-up kids aged 24 (son) and 22 (daughter), but they have moved out. I work full-time as a math and science teacher with kids aged 10-12.

I mainly scrap digitally, but I also do a lot in paper. When I paper scrap I do pocket scrapbooking and some layouts. I also love to dabble with mixed media/art journaling and sewing clothes. I've been scrapbooking since 2006 when I was looking for something fun to do with all my photos and found scrapbooking on the Internet.

I've been a creative person as long as I can remember which means I´ve been dipping my toes in all kinds of things - drawing, painting (both watercolor and acrylics), photography, knitting.... I also love to bake and cook!

I am a big fan of Star Wars, Coldplay and Metallica. I also love tea, coffee and chocolate

In my spare time I like to be active. I like to run and go biking on my mountainbike.

I am so looking forward to be creating for CSI!

My name is Cassie and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband of 20 years, our teenage daughter and 3 furry pups. I work full time in one of our local schools, so I love having the summer off to spend time with family and of course lots of scrapping!
I first started scrapbooking back in 2004 and I have been obsessed with this hobby ever since. I typically create traditional 12x12 scrapbook pages but have dabbled in some smaller formats as well as digital and hybrid projects as well. I first met Debbi when we were on the Paper Issues team together and I am now so excited to be joining her and the amazing group of talented ladies here at CSI!

Hi, I'm Cynthia Baldwin. I live in Cypress, Texas (northwest Houston) with my husband of over 25 years, John. We have two kids, Nick and Aly, plus our fur baby Lucy. I've been papercrafting/memory-keeping for over thirty years, and I still love the creativity, photography, generous community - and of course the pretty supplies! - that come with this awesome hobby.

Hello there fellow crafters, my name is Debbi McCue and I live in a small town on Prince Edward Island, Canada, the home of Anne of Green Gables! I have been papercrafting since 2005. It began as a way to preserve my own heritage stories but shortly into this meaningful endeavour, I discovered that magical world of creativity and a new found desire to explore this fantastical place.

I have three grown children who live in three different countries and five wonderful grandchildren, who feature in many of my layouts. I consider it a privilege to be a part of CSI and this team. I sincerely hope that in some small way I can be an inspiration to others as so many have been for me. Thanks!

Hi, CSI Fans! I'm Debbi Tehrani, the owner and founder of CSI. I live in Frederick, Maryland, with Farzad, my husband of 41 years. We have no children, but we have two amazing, friendly, social cats. I just retired in 2022 after teaching elementary school for 32 years.
I've been scrapping since about 2000. I scrap 8 x 8, which is why you will see only one photo on most of my layouts. I love telling stories on my pages and using elements that will help to tell my stories. For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. Recently, I've started making pages as gifts for other people, and I just love doing that!
The internet has transformed my hobby from a solitary passion to one that I can share with friends I have made all over the world. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to create this challenge and to be working alongside so many talented people. I am looking forward to forging new friendships and being inspired by all the members of the CSI community!

Hello everybody!!! I’m so honored to be joining this awesome team of Detectives at CSI! I live in Indiana with my husband of 21 years and 4 sons. Our oldest is grown and out of the house and our triplets are 16 and keep me on my toes constantly! I also share my home with our very spoiled fur babies - 3 dogs and 3 cats!

I started scrapbooking in 2004 at the suggestion of my mother-in-law and have never looked back! I mainly create 12x12 layouts but have started playing more with TN’s, 4x4 albums and memory keeping! I love getting messy with mixed media and adding stitching and sewing to my pages!

When not in my scrapbook room, I work full time as an HR Manager, can be found camping, or playing cornhole with my boys!

Hi, I’m Jackie, married with a 23 year son and live in Birmingham, UK.

My scrapbooking adventure started in 2008 after attending a ‘memory keeping’ workshop - I was hooked straightaway and knew this was the craft for me. Fast forward to today, where I now spend most days crafting in some form or another, even if it only checking out You-Tube and Pinterest to gather some design ideas.

I’m currently on a few design teams and I also run a scrapbooking business with two friends, where we organise retreats and workshops, and teach scrapbooking classes in and around the West Midlands, UK.

I’m mainly a 12x12 scrapbooker, but I love to incorporate other sizes of pages within my albums including pocket pages.

Hello, Bonjour.

My name is Jacynthe Loubier. I live with my husband, our dog Félix, our cat Maxime, and an array of barnyard animals on a small hobby farm just outside of beautiful Sussex, NB Canada.

We have two grown daughters with families of their own.

I’ve been scrapbooking for many years. It’s a secret obsession that I only share with my on-line friends. My scrapbooking style is fairly old-fashioned. I love all things mixed media but cannot seem to master it myself. I prefer dark colours with a cream undertone. I love pattern paper and flowers. They find their way on every one of my pages. Journaling is an important part of my layouts. Thank you Debbi, for letting me be part of this wonderful group of talented ladies.

Hello! My name is Julie Taylor & I hail from the Midlands in England. I live with my husband, 2 grown up daughters & many rescued fur babies ( 2 dogs, 2 rabbits & a tortoise).

I have always done some sort of crafting, for as long as I can remember, & fell upon scrapbooking in 2008 after going to a card making class. It’s now my passion & something I do on a daily basis, thinking, planning & making pages.

I’ve been lucky enough to be on a few design teams & even tried my hand at teaching, something I’d never thought I’d do!!! I mainly create 12x12 layouts & love the look of mixed media to create a unique background before adding ephemera, in abundance, on my pages.

I'm Kirei and I live with my husband just north of London in the UK though I grew up in Australia. I took early retirement after working for The Disney Store Europe in Store Operations for 23 years. I am now in partnership with a friend running GoGo Getaway weekend scrapbook retreats which keeps me busy! I also teach classes and am on the Bramble Fox design team. I love a scrapbook challenge to kick start a layout and am a fan of layers, dimension and distressed edges! My IG is @kirei65 xx

Hi, y’all!!! I am super excited to be here! Just a little about myself: I’m 49 I've been married for 27 years this coming October. No children, just two rotten fur babies. I’ve been scrapping in some form or fashion since 1993. I met Debbi through Paper Issues. My IG is @kikiscrapsalot I can’t wait to get started!

Hi Y’all, I’m Lacey, a mom of two wonderful kids. Lynndsie is 19 and Channing is 10. A wife to Derrick and a dog mom to Lady and Lilo. I love EVERYTHING Disney. I’m originally from Florida and moved to the boot (that’s Louisiana) in my teens. I’m a professional photographer in my day to day and enjoy capturing memories for others. Scrapbooking is my passion and I enjoy creating with paper, it soothes my soul. I have been creating for almost 20 years! I’ve been blessed to work in several local scrapbook stores teaching what I love as well as be on a handful of amazing creative design teams. I like clean and simple scrapbooking and will often be caught using a solid white cardstock as the starting point of my creation. I love using mixed media on my pages and reliving all the everyday memories as I lock them down on paper.

Here's a bit about Lillian, in her own words: I have three children (24, 21, and 16) and a husband. My family lives on an island on the west coast of Norway. I am an engineer and work at a yard where we build oil-platforms. We are a busy family, so it is sometimes hard to find time to scrapbook. Therefore I really appreciate the time I get to just enter the scrapbooking world. I most like to scrap layouts, and I love CSI and its concept. I scrap new and old pictures, mostly of my kids, and I like to tell the stories as well. I do not have a particular style, but like to try things I see and get inspired by, and I like to start with a sketch, and make it my own way, as I play along .

Hello! My name is Lisa Moen. My husband Greg and I have 2 children- Sierra, 20 and Austin, 19. Both are attending college in the fall, so I will have lots of free time on my hands. We live in central Wisconsin. I work as the Food Service Director at the school here. I enjoy most of the summer off! Besides scrapping, I enjoy camping, gardening and reading.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here at CSI!

Lisa-Marie Watling

A good friend introduced me to scrapbooking in 2007 and I was hooked within minutes.  I have, literally, thousands of digital photographs, so this was a great way for me to not only document my life and memories - but also have a passion for doing so.

I like to think that my scrapbooking has evolved in leaps and bounds since those first few LO's I have made, and I know that I will continue to grow as a scrapper.  There is always so much to learn and so many new exciting products and techniques!  I'm absolutely thrilled to be on the CSI team - since submitting my first LO in the challenge over 2 years ago, it has been my dream to be on this team!

Hi y'all! I’m Melanie and I live in South Louisiana. I have been married almost 25 years to Danny. We have 3 girls, the baby is at LSU.

We have 2 spoiled fur babies Augie and Millie.

I am a full time RN (26th year) and I have worked for Hospices in Texas and Louisiana as a triage nurse for 14 years and am blessed to work from home. I love gardening, growing flowers and vegetables. I love to cook and bake!

Scrapbooking is my biggest addiction! I could do it all day! I love mixed media and seeing on paper! I have also just became addicted to TN/memory planning. I am so happy to be here with the wonderful and incredibly talented ladies!

Hi! I´m Nina!
I´m married to John and mother of two teenagers whom you may already know;-)
Ten years ago I had to give up teaching due to being diagnosed with Lupus. That led to seven years at home, giving me the opportunity to spend all my energy on my children. Three years ago I went back to work, but now part time as a secretary in a law firm. The rest of the day I drive my family to different activities like ballet classes, flute lessons, handball practice, school band practice, saxophone lessons, concerts, games, competitions... So how do I get time to scrap?! Well, I have a husband that loves to cook, and he is responsible for dinner every day. That means I have an hour or so to relax in my scrap room while he enjoys cooking:-)
In the beginning I only scrapped cards. There was always a need for a birthday card, and I loved to make them special and personal. Just imagine. Both my children had between 20 and 30 pupils in their classes, and as a school rule you invited all of them, or just the boys or the girls. That's a lot of cards to make! Now I create most layouts inspired by CSI case files and the gorgeous work from the design team in the reveal.
I am not sure if I have a particular style, although my friends say they could easily recognize my work. I would like to try new techniques, and I want to learn more about mixed media. I sometimes try to make exciting backgrounds with paint and paste and stencils, but have not been successful so far. It turns out to be more messed media than mixed media:-)
Thank you for having me on the team. I am so excited to get started, and hope that I can encourage new members to keep playing in CSI. The friendly comments I got on my layouts made all the difference for me as a beginner.

Hi! I'm Rhonda and I've been married to the love of my life for 35 years. We have 5 boys and 5 grandchildren. We also have 6 dogs and a cat. The kids use to joke that every time a kid moved out I got another dog, lol. But now the pets outnumber the kids so I'm not sure their theory holds up.
I've been scrapbooking since 2003 when a friend showed me her scrapbooks. I was hooked immediately and I've never looked back. I love every aspect of scrapbooking but since I discovered mixed media I do tend to lean toward that type of scrapping. However, I don't have a particular style and I'm constantly trying different things. I can't ever imagine myself not scrapbooking. I'm excited to step out of my comfort zone and get to work solving these cases with everyone!

Hi my name is Sheena Rowlands & I live in the UK with my husband. I'm a mum to 3 grown up children and a part time RN. I’ve always loved crafting & tried many hobbies before settling with scrapbooking in 2006. I’ve also recorded our lives using Project Life for 10 years now, which gives me the freedom to scrapbook my children, our travels & our new Grand pup. I’ve been lucky to have been on a few design teams and teach classes which I love and now run a scrapbook retreat business with 2 friends. You can find me:

Hi! I'm Vivian and I live in Shallow Lake, Ontario Canada. I've been married to my high school sweetheart Richard for almost 23 years. Together we have three beautiful children, ages 20, 19 & 14. I have recently changed careers and currently, I am working in a local doctors office.

I started scrapbooking when my parents were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make an unique gift for them. I really loved the creative process and I haven't quit since!! Recently, I've discovered mixed media and I'm enjoying incorporating it into my art.

I've been playing along here at CSI since Case #1. I love the way Debbi challenges us to tell our stories, and my art has changed to be more like art therapy. When I'm not scrapbooking, you can find me in my kitchen cooking up a storm, curled up on my couch reading a book, or in the dojo studying Goju Ryu karate.

Hi everyone! It’s Wendy Meffan here and I’m so excited to be joining this amazing team of designers at CSI and can’t wait to start solving the case files. Here is a little more info about me … I have been scrapbooking for about 14 years and enjoy documenting our family life. I have become far more adventurous in my scrapping and I particularly enjoy mixed media now which used to be a pet hate of mine in the early days! I realise I have also become a total hoarder of all things scrappy and can’t pack light when going to scrap away from the house! I live in the UK near London and am married with three grown up children. I am a Physiotherapist and run a practice from our home. I love spending time with my family, playing tennis and travelling when it’s possible. Xx

You can see Wendy's beautiful work on her Instagram.

Hello, everyone! My name is Wendy, and I live in a small town in western Michigan. I’ve been married to my husband, Jon, for over 25 years, and we have two daughters, Paige (20) and Erin (18). This fall I’ll be experiencing an empty nest for the first time, so I’m working to fill that void with lots of creating! I’m also a third grade teacher, and we do have a beloved dog named Maxwell, so I plan to stay very busy.

My scrapping journey began in 2005 with a blank spiral notebook, a bunch of zoo pictures, some animal stickers, and colorful markers to make a memory book for my daughter, and I was hooked! Today I scrap 12x12 exclusively, and I’ve added just a few more materials to my stash. I’m thrilled to be joining the CSI team, and I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead! For more of my work, my IG is @wrasbach58 I wish you all happy creating!

  2. I wish there was a CSI youtube channel! There is so much inspiration here and I would to be able to watch some of the detectives in action! I saw a few videos but it would be nice if they were on one channel to be easier to access.
